DESCRIPTION

Blackfin Tuna occur in only in the western Atlantic. Not quite as popular for using as bait, blackfin tunas are often the first ones to get eaten. Blackfins are sometimes used to attract offshore species such as marlin, sailfish, wahoo, barracuda, kingfish, dolphin, tuna and others. In Florida, blackfin tuna are considered "Unregulated" and so therefore are acceptable to be used as baitfish.
