Award-Winning Fish Mounts Since 1991
OUR PURPOSE | PROVIDE SPORTSMEN WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND VALUE WHILE SYMBOLIZING AN AGE OF ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
Due to the growing demand of the catch and release sportfishing community, King Sailfish Mounts started in 1991 by introducing a new method for mounting gamefish called "Release Mounts".
Over two decades later, we've grown to become a world-renowned supplier of beautifully crafted fiberglass fish mounts. With skilled artists who capture nature’s rich beauty and realism, King Sailfish Mounts transforms raw materials into the ultimate representation of an angler’s most notable achievement.
Founded in 1991 by Raymond Douglas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, King Sailfish Mounts was born out of a passion for the sea and a vision for sustainable sportfishing. Douglas, a former Financial Accountant, started his venture in his garage, perfecting the art of specimen gathering, molding, casting, and airbrushing local gamefish species. His innovative approach to fish mounting, focusing on catch and release, quickly gained traction within the sportfishing community.
Following a successful debut at the Miami International Boat Show, KSM rapidly evolved from a garage-based startup to a commercial sensation. By incorporating skilled professionals from renowned taxidermy studios like Pflueger Marine Taxidermy and J.T. Reese Taxidermy Studios, Douglas expanded the company's expertise and client base, catering to anglers from around the globe.
