African Pompano Mounted, Fish MountsAfrican Pompano Mounts are now available online from King Sailfish Mounts.  KSM individually crafts each finely detailed mounted fish by hand, one-at-a-time. Every reproduction is airbrushed to resemble that species’ most vivid and striking color patterns. African Pompano. The name of this fish is misleading as it is actually a member of the Jack family. Juvenile African Pompano have unique thread-like fin rays that can be even longer than the fish itself. These usually disappear as the fish grows in size. Due to increased awareness, most African Pompano are released alive, even for fish mounting purposes. The All Tackle World Record African Pompano was weighed in at just over 50-pounds, and was landed in Daytona Beach, Florida.  Most of the IGFA African Pompano World Records were caught in Florida.

Standard Features include: (at no extra charge) Custom Painting, Downturned Fired-Enamel Glass Eyes and Acrylic Teeth. Options include Expedited Production/Shipping and UV Inhibitive Polyurethane Outdoor Coating. (see more about Standard Features)
