Fat Snook Mounts.  The Fat Snook occurs in the western Atlantic including the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea.  They are a coastal fish and often travel up into rivers and bays, where fresh water mingles with salt.  The fat snook is one of the six species of snook found in the Atlantic.  Fat snook have a broader body than does the common snook, as well as a shorter lower jaw.  Fat snook rarely grow to lengths of more than 20-inches and the IG.F.A. All-Tackle World Record was set at just under 11-pounds.
